Job Description

Position: Order DeskPrimary Function: To assist in the day to day operations by taking customer phone calls, faxes, emails and processing them into orders. Provide in house support for sales team when a customer requires information or assistance. As an Inside Sales Representative, this person will be responsible for selling all building supply products to new and existing customers in a timely manner.Work experience and other requirements:

  • Familiar with construction materials
  • Data entry (Spruce software an asset)
  • Placing purchase orders
  • Inventory control
  • Health and Safety Conscious
  • Obtain and follow clear direction from supervisors/ managers and ensure a high level of effectiveness
Skills and knowledge:
  • Effective written and oral communication skills (ability to speak, read and write English)
  • Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Must have advanced Excel skills
  • Good phone etiquette
  • Works well under pressure
  • General tool use including basic skills with hand tools
  • Works well under pressure
  • Knowledge of building materials
