We AIM for excellence.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and social-media savvy Recruiter to support our various sites across Ontario. In this role you will focus on building sustainable talent strategies & talent acquisition. You will be relied upon to contribute towards the development of robust talent pools and create a positive candidate experience.Taking direction from the Human Resources Business Partner, the recruiter will support the Ontario Retail Yards with the full cycle of recruitment.Responsibilities:Partner with all levels of management to identify staffing needs and to develop recruiting strategies to attract quality talent.Identify, source and maintain a pipeline of candidates through a variety of platforms: social media, job boards, networking, headhunting, etc.Provide appropriate feedback throughout the interview and selection process to advice hiring managers, ensuring an overall effective hire.Review resumes for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements.Pre-screen candidates and make recommendations to hiring managers.Manage applicant tracking system ensuring system is regularly updated including applicant status throughout the process, phone screen summary, and documentation of all feedback from hiring managers.Produce regular status reports for hiring managers.Manage and coordinate all communication with candidates.Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and hiring managers.Identify and recommend solutions to address challenges and/or opportunities and to streamline and improve recruiting processes.QualificationsThe ideal candidate must have:2-3 years experience in full life-cycle recruiting (corporate and agency experience is preferred)Experience managing high volume recruitment, and able to provide creative sourcing strategiesSelf-motivated, with strong communication skills, organizational, time management and negotiation skillsRelationship builder, with excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of the businessPassionate, innovative, driven, and a desire to work in a fast-paced environmentGood business acumen and ability to understand the structure and needs of the growing companyExcellent ability to qualify candidates by phone, video conference or in person;Excellent consulting skills and proven success in developing strong collaborative relationships between departments and managersProvide general support as assigned to the HR departmentAdditional InformationHealth and Dental BenefitsRetirement Savings PlanAmerican Iron & Metal and its subsidiaries offer equal employment opportunities to everyone.
