The hotel is a proud recipient of the 2018 Burlington Post’s Reader’s Choice Diamond Award, 2020 Traveller Review Award, Booking.com and 2020 Traveller Review Award, Expedia.Position OverviewIn this important role, you will lead the effort to solicit and grow Individual Business Travel commitments from local, national and international corporations and Group commitments from Corporate, Government, Association, Sporting and Wedding accounts through a variety of different sales techniques that include organizing and executing personal sales calls, hosting site inspections, participating in trade shows and communicating directly with guests and travel influencers via email, phone calls and industry networking events. Your efforts will make a significant contribution to the achievement of budgeted guest room revenue by committing the hotel’s product and services within agreed pricing and service parameters. You’re at the top of your game and bring polished professionalism to work everyday, as evidenced by maintaining a highly organized office with up-to-date records covering client communication, commitments and results tracking. You are a high achiever, driven by results with strong business acumen, and an ability to develop creative solutions in a fast-paced business environment. High proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook required, along with savvy online & social media skills. Specific background within the Hospitality Industry is essential. Proficiency with Opera PMS, Lanyon and CaterEase are strong assets.
