Job Description

Small grounds maintenance company servicing the Burlington/Hamilton area now hiring for the winter season, with an eye ahead to grounds maintenance beginning in the spring.Looking for reliable, hard-working applicants who have a positive attitude to join a growing company.Winter duties include - snow removal and salting of driveways and sidewalks using shovels and snow blowers. This is an on-call position. Must be available for work 24/7 including weekends and holidays for the duration of the winter. Must be prepared to work in variable weather conditions.Spring/Summer/Fall duties include - maintenance of lawns and gardens, use of gas powered tools (mowers, trimmers, back-pack blowers, etc.), sodding, planting, etc.Some heavy lifting is required.Must have reliable transportation.Experience is a asset but not required.A valid G license with a clean drivers abstract is preferred.Weekly stand-by pay + hours during the winter.Can lead to full-time work in the spring.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, SeasonalSalary: $20.00-$25.00 per hourSchedule:
