Job Description

Job DescriptionHow You’ll Make an Impact:Reporting to the SVP Sales Canada, you will be accountable for setting winning deal strategies, defining strong value propositions, designing complex and/or technical solutions, setting the pricing strategy to guide pricing and costing and developing competitive proposals all of which better address client needs and drive improved conversion and win rates for the Healthcareamp;Senior Living and Corporate Services segments in Canada. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing Sales and Operations teams with deal support and the strategic thinking needed to retain clients and win new business. This role includes retention and new business, as well as ensuring the evolution of Commercial Solutions resources, tools and capabilities to accelerate profitable growth.You will be required to understand the portfolio of service offerings, both from a commercial and operational perspective including how operations will deliver those services at clients sites. We are looking for a strong leader to lead and develop a sales support team and be collaborative with between Sales, HR, Finance, Operations, Marketing and Legal to achieve growth and retention targets. More specifically, you will:

  • Create strategies to attain growth and retention targets including but not limited to the creation and deployment of go to market campaigns and marketing initiatives for the segments for patient and customer food, retail food and EVS services.Define and develop value propositions to appeal to a variety of clients and prospective clients.
  • Design complex and/or technical solutions, utilizing innovation as much as possible to create value and differentiate Sodexo from competitors.Use creative problem solving to develop possible solutions for clients or prospective clients.Understand the needs of the client as well as operational capacities to create individualized solutions for each client.Set pricing strategies to develop competitive proposals to best address client needs and win business.
  • Participate in the development of long-term strategic growth plans, including but not limited to, identifying potential future markets, understanding the market and anticipating future market trends.
  • Lead a team of sales individuals ensuring the development, mentorship, assignment of projects and performance management as required.
