The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing commercial construction projects, with specific experience in tenant improvement (TI) and new construction projects. In particular, the candidate should have hands-on knowledge and experience in steel stud framing, drywall, painting, and finishing work. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle from pre-construction through to final completion, ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.RequirementsKey Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Lead and manage multiple commercial construction projects from start to finish, including tenant improvement (TI) projects and new construction, with a specific focus on steel stud, drywall, painting, and finishing work.
• Scheduleamp; Budget Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets. Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with the scope of work.
• Client Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact between the client, design team, contractors, and subcontractors. Provide regular project updates and manage client expectations throughout the process.
• Quality Control: Ensure all work, especially steel stud framing, drywall, painting, and finishing, is completed according to specifications and industry standards. Conduct inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with project requirements.
• Change Ordersamp; Documentation: Manage change orders and document all project changes, ensuring that they are tracked and communicated to clients and stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Safetyamp; Compliance: Ensure that all work is performed in accordance within the regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Promote a safety-first culture on the job site.
• Problem Solving: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the project. Adapt to changes in scope, design, or unforeseen site conditions in a proactive and efficient manner.
• Project Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports, including cost tracking, schedule updates, and risk assessments for internal stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with specific experience in tenant improvement and/or new construction projects.
• Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, cost control, and timely delivery.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project etc.) for scheduling, documentation, and reporting.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Leadership: Ability to manage and motivate teams, fostering collaboration and productivity while maintaining a positive work environment.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to find effective solutions to challenges that arise on the job site.
• Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certifications are a plus.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
