An ideal candidate will be well-versed in issues management, human resources, project and change management, employee engagement, divisional and ministry financial policy and cycles, and communication products at the executive level. In this role, you will need to be a self-starter, willing to operate in a dynamic environment, and operate with the highest level of tact and judgement.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education:

  • Completion of relevant post-secondary degree or diploma (e.g., Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, Project Management, Communications, etc.).
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior administrative role supporting a senior leader (Executive Director and up).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information and issues.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience managing diverse workloads effectively and independently.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in coordinating and responding to financial, human resources and administrative issues.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered (i.e., less education with more experience).
PREFERENCE MAY BE GIVEN TO APPLICANTS WITH:
  • More than 2 years’ experience in a senior administrative role supporting a senior leader (Executive Director and up).
  • Experience managing projects from start to finish and/or leading project working groups and committees.
