Whether you’re out in the field or back at your office, you’ll be helping us achieve our vision of becoming the trusted global marketplace for insights, services and transaction solutions for commercial assets.We’re looking for a Collections Account Manager in Burnaby, BC.The Opportunity:The Collections Account Manager will be collecting outstanding balances on various RB platforms, and monitor and provide timely and effective resolutions to outstanding accounts.In this role you’ll:

  • Participate in early-stage collections on majority commercial and some consumer accounts
  • Identify process gaps and recommend solutions for improvement
  • Make recommendations for early defaults and collapses
  • Reduce collapse rate
  • Track and report (excel and qualitative feedback) on work queue results
  • Actively support the RB Unreserved Commitment to Safety: to send everyone home, every day, the way they came to work, by taking personal responsibility for your safety and safety of your team, co-workers and customers.
Here’s what you bring:
  • Minimum High School Diploma
  • 5 years of related experience
This job will require you to:
  • Prioritize collections accounts
  • negotiate with customers on payment timelines, partial payments, default fees, etc.
  • Holdback recommendations, early defaults, and collapses
  • Negotiating earlier payments
  • Overcoming buyers’ objections and helping them through buyer’s remorse
  • Identifying gaps and potential solution options
  • Handle escalations and other operational issues
