Job Description

BCIT’s School of Business and Media is seeking a temporary, part-time (0.53 FTE) Faculty member to teach in the marketing management department in the Marketing Communications option in two courses related to campaign communications and creative production and processes.Duties & ResponsibilitiesApplicants should have 8+ years of experience working within a creative department of a communications agency, in either a full time or freelance capacity, and/or developing content within client-side marketing departments.QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:

  • Journalism and/or communications-related credential required; BCIT business diploma an asset.
  • Instructional experience at a polytechnic or similar applied institution is preferred; and/or experience with professional coaching or other adult learning environments.
  • An established network of relevant professional contacts in the Lower Mainland, British Columbia, and beyond.
  • Excellent English-language communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a collegial environment.

Salary Range Salary Range: $56,845 - $99,571 per annumAdditional Salary InformationSalary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment.
