For more information, visit www.netint.ca.NETINT offers competitive salaries, benefits, and endless learning and development opportunities.Job ScopeThe Field Application manager (FAE) Manager will be responsible for leading a team of FAEs as they assist customers with the design and implementation of their product requirements, utilizing NETINT’s VPU and other solutions.This role will include understanding the market dynamics and fielding a team to achieve NETINT business objectives. By understanding customer system requirements, and providing expertise in the use of our products, we enable them to bring competitive products to market in a timeframe that maximizes their success. The FAE Manager will drive results through leadership skills, technical acumen, championing and supporting Intels Culture, driving continuous improvement, with an eye on reaching optimum performance on an individual and team basis. This includes raising the bar for individuals and the team by instilling value-selling vision, strong technical FPGA background, and FPGA market knowledge.Responsibilities

  • Support sales executives with solutions selling into prospect account base
  • Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
  • Model the competitive advantages associated with sales opportunities
  • Closely work with R&D teams with updated knowledge of NETINT products strength and weakness
  • Successfully match customer pain/ requirements to proposed solutions
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations, demos and trials that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
  • Help define integration architectures for implementing NETINT products and solutions into their existing data center and video workflow processes
  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP/ RFI responses
  • Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence
  • Join in the development of multimedia software customization and develop specific feature according to customers requirement
Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of FFMPEG/ x264/ x265
  • Knowledge and experience with H.264/ AVC, H.265/ HEVC, VP9 or other video and audio codec standards, or AI (good plus)
  • Knowledge about AI and video analytics workflows
  • Experience with container formats and streaming protocols
  • Knowledge of embedded systems, analog, and digital circuits, software/ firmware development and testing methodology
  • Proficient in software programming (C/C++/Python)
  • Ability to debug and solve problems on the spot
  • Ability to support customers with their video encoding quality testing activities
  • Ability to forge strong, long-lasting technical relationships with a customer base
  • Ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner
  • Ability to quickly ramp up on new technologies and standard
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/ or hands-on experience in video compression technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent presentation and creativity skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as Flash, DDR, PCI Express is an asset
  • Electrical Engineering degree, Computer Science degree or equivalent industry experience
