At Mindful Collective we utilize a multi-channel sales strategy selling ecommerce, supplying to yoga studios, retailers large and small, and distributors globally. We are headquartered in Burnaby, with our team spread out across Canada and the US.Mindful Collective Co. is committed to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment.Who You AreWe are currently seeking an IT & Operations Specialist to join our Finance team to work diligently to ensure the right information is delivered to the right people and platforms to ensure optimal operations. This is a full time opportunity based in Burnaby, with flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week.PurposeLocated in our West office,* the IT & Operations Specialist* reports to the Director, Finance with a dotted line to the Director, Operations and works cross functionally on both the Operations and IT functions of the business. On the Operations side, this includes customs and logistics coordination and administration. On the IT side this includes system ownership, IT administration, troubleshooting, and optimization of existing systems.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Customs and Logistics- Acts as the main liaison for all import procedures;- Coordinates delivery of products arriving from overseas;- Supports Shipping & Receiving teams in arranging, planning and completing all required shipping documents for international orders;- Coordinates with Customs Brokers and Carriers to ensure timely clearance of all shipments;- Monitors shipments and troubleshoots with carriers/freight companies on any issues;- Communicates internally to ensure internal stakeholders are aware of receiving timelines;- Validates and proofs paperwork relating to imports and exports to ensure a high level of customs compliance;- Processes and submits refunds, duty drawback & claims;- Ad-hoc projects as assigned, based on current and changing business needs.IT Administration- Managing IT administration for all internal staff including but not limited to equipment set up and maintenance, program user administration, Google Suite ownership, onboarding, offboarding- Develop and coordinate all EDI-related developments and ensuring smooth implementation and daily operation- Ownership & optimization over CIN7 and integrated platforms, end to end systemic transactions and business process- Monitor industry trends and propose recommendations to help optimize systems- Provide technical expertise and support internally with our staff and externally with our customers and partners- Project management of any ad-hoc projects as assigned, based on current and changing business needsPlatforms You’ll Own and Support- CIN7 (owner)- Shipstation (owner)- Aligni (support)- Shopify (support)Requirements: - Ability to problem solve, understand impact, identify root cause, determine resolution and make recommendations- Strong communication skills, ability to decode technical language to make it clear- Technical knowledge and experience with implementing and supporting systems integrations- Detail oriented and accurate when processing documentationQualities We are Looking For- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively prioritize- Experience with ERP/inventory management systems, CIN7 experience a plus- Willingness to learn- Team player- A motivated, positive, proactive, and transparent attitudeBenefits- Monthly meditation and movement classes- Employee discount- Health benefitsJob Type: Full-timeQuick Apply
