This position is based out of our South Burnaby, BC head office (105 5566 Trapp Avenue). At this time the role will be remote, with any future return to the office dates TBA.Duties & Responsibilities:Support vital functions by mining, transforming, and visualizing data from a financial & managerial perspectiveAssist in the design of metrics and performance indicators specific to various business processes, requirements, and key decision pointsComplete daily, weekly, and monthly reports, for both internal companies and external partnersWork on diverse project teams and support the maintenance of a strong data infrastructureSupport operational deliberation of financial information and communicate results to a variety of audiencesMonitor data accuracy and rectify validation issuesBe a crucial asset in the ongoing maintenance of various platforms & processesYou’ll have a tremendous ability to impact the company. There are no corporate blockades to prevent new ideas from being implemented – We want new ideas!Qualifications & Requirements:Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or related fieldStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookup functions, pivots, Power Query, etc.)Knowledge of relational database design and SQL a major assetA high degree of critical thinking, analytical, and computation skillsPrevious experience in a similar business role is an assetWorking knowledge of PowerBI and/or Microsoft D365 also an assetThe desire to work in an newly-public company that is progressing quickly and paving the way in e-commerceCompensation:An annual salary paid bi-weekly.Join now and receive an initial $250.00 of SPUD credit, and another $250.00 of SPUD credit after six months of employment ($500.00 total)Must have a valid SPUD.ca account and be employed at the time of the credit administration (processed monthly)20 % discount on SPUD.ca purchases.Extended health care benefits (effective the first of the month following 90 days).
