The IT Administrator is responsible for end user productivity issues as they relate to IT-serviced computer operations and for general network maintenance on the LAN, relating to users, contexts and network devices.We Provide

Key Responsibilities
  • Implements IT projects initiated by site management.
  • Installs, supports, monitors and troubleshoots hardware and software equipment and issues.
  • Configures and maintains Windows 2003 / 2008 servers, Exchange 2003/2010 and SQL 2000/2005 servers.
  • Installs, configures and maintains Windows 7 and XP client workstations and related hardware and software.
  • Configures and manages backup operations for servers and client workstations; internet and email connectivity and switching equipment.
  • Manages and supports site-specific systems applications for example Point of Sale (POS), Audio Visual (AV), property management system, telephone system, etc.
  • Provides application support to all departments and acts as a resource for employees and managers in all areas of information systems.
What You Bring
  • One to three years experience or equivalent combination of related education and experience in a Network Administrator or similar role
  • Post-secondary Diploma/Degree in Network Administration
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, in user-friendly language
  • Reliable transportation for travel between sites
  • Working knowledge of LAN/WAN Networking, user/group setup, LAN security setup
  • Working knowledge of TCP/IP Internetworking, routing and switching management
  • Working knowledge of PC and server hardware installations and repairs
  • Working knowledge of Windows 7/XP, Microsoft Office 2003/2007/2010
  • Experience with MS Server 2003 / 2008, MS Exchange 2003/2007/2010 an asset
  • MCSE Designation an asset
