The following duties will be performed in this position:

  • Plan and construct landscaped environments on commercial and residential construction sites throughout the Lower Mainland.
  • Survey and assess sites.
  • Work in outdoor, all-weather conditions.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, such as shoveling dirt/gravel, moving pavers, wheelbarrowing back and forth, digging trenches, etc.
  • Follow safety regulations onsite and attend training programs as needed.
  • Regularly interact with with foremen, coworkers, office staff, and other trades and safety personnel.
REQUIREMENTS. The successful applicant will possess, at a minimum, the following skills and experience:
  • Completion of secondary school is required.
  • At least 4 months of landscaping experience is required.
  • A level of physical fitness sufficient to perform the job duties is required.
  • Applicant must be well-organized and professional, with attention to detail.
  • Demeanour and attitude appropriate for a client-facing position are required.
