We also license Flash-IP solutions that are incorporated in a broad range of products.Job DescriptionLead and collaborate with a team of Planners and Expediters that report on inventory and stocking levels for Microchip’s E-Commerce (microchipDIRECT) sales channel.

  • Analyze sales-related information using web analytics, Tableau, and MS Excel to set and monitor inventory levels for the microchipDIRECT sales channel
  • Comprehend and act on material requirements planning, master production scheduling requirements and other planning reports as they relate to customer demand and internal cycle times
  • Act as a liaison between Corporate Planning and the microchipDIRECT Team as well as interface with Engineering, Manufacturing and other pertinent groups to coordinate activities to meet planned output
  • Other duties may involve supporting our on-line sample center process, answer phone and e-mail requests for site guidance support, order support, change requests to orders, RMA’s and other questions that may arise from customers ordering via www.microchipDIRECT.com
Job Requirements
  • BS degree in Supply-Chain Management/Materials Management/Logistics or Equivalent and 10+ years experience in semiconductor planning or related field
  • Minimum 1 year team leadership experience
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Candidates must have excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of ERP systems a plus
  • Knowledge of Salesforce a plus
  • Previous customer service experience a plus
  • Self-starter, detail oriented, and positive attitude
  • Hours must be flexible
