Local 3338Pay range:$25.14 per hour plus 9% in lieu of benefitsSFU Department Descr:Student Services - Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL)Position Grade:7# of openings:1Biweekly Hours:70Provides reception and clerical support, and confidential secretarial and administrative assistance to the supervisor and Associate Director of the Centre for Accessible Learning, effecting the institutions legal obligation to provide services, programs and facilities free from discrimination. Acts as the primary point of initial contact for individuals, either internal or external to the University, who wish to raise issues with the Centre for Accessible Learning, including members of the general public, university community, industry, and all levels of government. Assesses the sensitivity of the enquiry and refers as necessary. Responds to requests for information; liaises with internal and external personnel; composes letters, reports, and general correspondence; processes a variety of forms and documents; creates, reviews, and/or maintains records, databases, and websites; provides secretarial and clerical support services for travel and accommodation, events, workshops, and seminars; conducts preliminary reviews of information and materials; arranges meetings; drafts and circulates agendas, minutes, and materials; books rooms and organizes meeting resources.Qualifications:Two-year Diploma in Business or Administrative Management or related field, and four years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Minimum 4 years experience. An equivalent combination of formal education, certificate/program of study and experience is acceptable.
