Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Your duties include scheduling appointments, liaising with clients, opening and closing jobs, invoicing, preparing documents and reports while effectively communicating with the Project Manager, office staff and external contacts including trades and subcontractors on a daily basis.
  • Provide all necessary support to the Department Managers.
  • Effectively communicate with the Project Manager, office staff and external contacts on a daily basis.
  • Review work on ongoing repairs to make sure we are keeping on budget.
  • Coordinate with Emergency and Contents Managers as required.
  • Provide status reports and communicate regularly with clients.
  • Prepare purchase orders for sub trades.
  • Maintain repair schedules and update accordingly if and when there are schedule or material delays.
  • Maintain communication with the homeowner, even when in a known down time in schedule.
  • Work with Repair manager to prepare budgets for sub trades and in-house staff.
  • In addition you will be required to deal with difficult situations, have strong communication skills, manage your time, meet tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, follow up with ongoing concerns and not lose site of the details and accuracy of information.
  • Any duty not specified above, which nonetheless falls within the area of the Project coordinator function is accordingly included in the duties of this position.
