Quality Coordinator - Burnaby, Calgary or Burlington - (AUS000716)If you’re like us, you don’t have much time for the way things are.Ausenco is a global company redefining what’s possible. Combining our deep technical expertise with a 30-year track record, we deliver innovative, value-add consulting studies, project delivery and sustainability solutions to the mining & metals, oil & gas, and industrial sectors.We’re looking for a highly organized and detail orientated individual to support the implementation and standardisation of quality services across Ausenco’s Sustainability business. This will involve maintaining the Ausenco Management System inputs, outputs and training, and assisting with Quality auditing and reporting in order to be compliant with international standard ISO 9001.This position may be based from any of our Canadian offices, such as Burnaby, Calgary or Burlington, and we offer flexibility with a hybrid work environment.About the role

  • Ensuring employees are able to use the Ausenco Management System by delivering the induction program and ongoing training and awareness programs.
  • Supporting in certifications, business registrations and other processes to allow the sustainability business to operate according to regulations in place in the different provinces we operate (eg – BC, AB, YT, ON)
  • Monitoring and maintaining the quality of documentation on the Ausenco Management System by working with relevant Ausenco personnel to create and update procedures, process maps, templates and other documentation.
  • Assisting Ausenco in meeting ISO 9001 requirements by auditing the Ausenco Management System and assisting Ausenco personnel in making necessary changes to achieve compliance.
  • Producing metrics to assess Ausenco quality performance.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience work experience in developing and implementing quality systems based on the ISO 9001 standard
  • Knowledge of Professional Governance Act
  • Certified up to Level III in the use of Microsoft Office, Visio and Adobe Acrobat software packages
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to pay close attention to details, accuracy, timeliness and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Environmental engineering consulting experience would be desirable
  • Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001 or equal) or ASQ Certification (CMQ / OE, CQA or CQE) considered an asset
