Job descriptionWould you like working in a positive, progressive counselling office that has an excellent team and is committed to client care and education Our Burnaby counselling office is looking for you, an experienced Receptionist/Office Assistant who is very familiar with extended health insurance billing, ability to submit predeterminations and follow up with clients on these predeterminations. You must be comfortable discussing proposed treatment and fees associated with treatment as well as confident making check-in calls and booking follow-up appointments.This role is ideal for a Medical Office Assistant who has completed the MOA course with CMR knowledge preferably with Wix CRM or other CRM software. Mandarin/Cantonese speaking is definitely a great asset. Experience with extended healthcare direct billing preferred. The right candidate will have a positive and friendly personality and wants to be involved in a virtual team environment. The duties will include answering phone calls, entering data into the CRM system, addressing client requests through E-mails, faxing and scanning documents, helping the clinical team member with daily routine, clinical and administrative tasks, billing, account payable and receivable.Additional Duties and responsibilities
  • Prepare and distribute monthly newsletter using E-mail Marketing software
  • Manage and maintain email lists and social media audiences.
  • Update website as needed: update blog posts, edit text, upload images and create links on landing pages.
  • Work closely with the director to assist in marketing and promotion needs.
Requirements and skills
  • Completion of Grade 12, plus training or experience in secretarial work, business or office administration, or communications.
  • Two to three years of recent related experience in billing, account record keeping
  • Familiarity with managing email through platforms.
  • Be comfortable using PC computer and accompanying programs like Microsoft.
  • Excellent people and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience with WordPress an asset.
  • Fluency in an additional language as an asset.
