Adult Support Workers at BACI support people to lead a good life. This role works with people to explore dreams and passions providing opportunities for people to develop relationships, find places of belonging in community, have a home they view as a haven and support people to work towards a balanced life which is healthy and safe. This position requires skills or e xperience working with individuals with medical needs to ensure dignity is maintained, independence is fostered and well-being is supported. Candidates must be respectful and empathetic, must be able to demonstrate competencies for supporting people with medical needs, and must have good written and verbal communication skills as well as basic computer proficiency. Qualifications for this position include: Graduation from a Community College with an appropriate diploma or certificate in Human Services OR an equivalent of education and experience. Current First Aid & CPR, TB screening, and a valid unrestricted BC Class 5 Drivers License. POSITION: Regular PT Residence Worker LOCATION: Cumberland Street, Burnaby, BC SALARY: Step 1: $21.63, Step 2: $22.68, Step 3: $23.90, Step 4: $25.19 HOURS: 22.0hours per week: Schedule: Sunday 9:00AM-3:00PM Thursday&Friday 9:00AM-2:00PM Saturday 8:00AM-2:00PM This position is open to all Candidates and requires union membership and completion of Criminal Record Search as per the Criminal Record Review Act.Quick Apply
