Job Description

Our Team Leaders are responsible for leading a team of Activity Leaders to deliver quality before and after school care experiences.Who we’re looking for:

Your qualifications
  • Must be at least 19 years of age
  • 1-2 years’ experience leading a team
  • Emergency First Aid and CRC – C & AED
  • 20 hours of training in Child Development, Child
Guidance and/or Nutrition an assetYour responsibilities:
  • Directly supervise and provide leadership to a team of staff
  • Plan and implement child-centered programming
  • Establish positive relationships and communication with families, staff and key stakeholders
  • Complete required administrative tasks
The important details:Location: Stoney Creek YMCA Kids Club (2740 Beaverbrook Crescent, Burnaby)Rate of Pay: $23.88 per hourBenefits: Benefits package + FREE Gym Membership paid vacation days and sick leaveStart Date: December 5, 2022End Date: December 8, 2023Terms: Temporary, Full-time, 35 hours per weekShift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-9:00am & 2:30pm-6:00pm + adminReports To: Supervisor, Healthy Child DevelopmentQuick Apply
