Position Purpose: The Production Supervisor (Rotating Shift) is responsible for leading/ directing the railcar production for assigned work center(s) at the Moose Jaw Service Center. The person in this role is on the front line and must ensure that employees performing repairs on railcars have all the tools, equipment, information and training needed to complete their tasks within GATX’s standards. Accountable for leadership of skilled labour employees, including all aspects of safety, quality, production and cost. Ensures the highest quality work in the most efficient and cost-effective manner possible.Provides direction and motivation to the workforce to ensure performance metrics are achieved.Ensures consistent and fair administration of employee policies and procedures.
