About usEstablished in 1901, the Caledon Mountain Trout Club is one of Canada’s premier private outdoor sporting Clubs. Located on 130 rolling acres in Caledon Hills, Ontario, our historic clubhouse is one of the last of its kind in North America. Generations of members have made the Club their second home and forged many lifelong friendships here. Our mission is simple: to provide exceptional customer service to members, their families, and guests by sharing our passion for the outdoors in a refined and tranquil setting.Position SummaryThis position is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the Clubhouse, including member accommodations (28 bedrooms), washrooms, locker rooms are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness. Our Clubs offers our members and their guests accommodation- the rooms are , spread over the upper two floors of the clubhouse, with communal bathroom facilities accessible on each. Housekeeping staff are responsible for making rooms, replacing used towels with new ones, vacuuming, and cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms and ensuring new toiletries provided by the Club are placed at appropriate places.Important note: On-site staff housing is available for a nominal fee, and meals are provided while on shift.Key Responsibilities·· Provide professional, responsive, and friendly service· Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting surfaces, cleaning washrooms, making beds and changing sheets are required, emptying garbage, cleaning windows, mirrors, upholstery and all surfaces, stocking washroom items and amenities, as well as Maintain linen inventory· Ensure all floor surfaces are impeccable, by vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and change light bulbs· Respond to all requests with a sense of urgency· Follow all Health & Safety policies and Clubhouse procedures and sanitation standards· Report all lost and found items to the Clubhouse Manager Perform other duties and tasks as instructed by the Club Manager or designateRequirements· 2+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced, upscale club/hotel commercial or residential setting· Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills· Ability to project a clean, professional image· Experience in a private Club environment a definite asset
