A manifest is provided daily and Drivers are required to have a solid geographical knowledge of the City of St. Thomas to ensure efficient routing.Transit Drivers are responsible for driving along assigned routes and adhereing to a preexisting schedule. Customer service and time management skills are essential for this role.RequirementsCandidates should ideally demonstrate the following:

• Possess G, B, E, or F Licence (must be willing to upgrade to minimum F class licence)
• Possess clean drivers abstract and obtain a recent copy for a driver file.
• Possess clear criminal record search with vulnerable sector check and provide a recent copy
• Display safe and defensive driving techniques.
• Ability to work independently.
• Have a sound knowledge of Caleldon, Bolton and Brampton
• Be available to work flexible hours. (service runs 5 days per week)
• Be physically capable of performing bus washing duties
• Must have own transportation to work

DUTIES:The position includes the following duties:

• Transportation
• Transportation of special needs individuals
• Maintain HOS log books and other appropriate paperwork in a timely manner
