Job Description

This role is an on-site job and we are looking for someone based in Calgary.Requirements

  • Working towards a bachelor #39;s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (Must be in the 3rd or 4th year)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Knowledge of AI tools for data science like ChatGPT and Copilot
  • Understanding of statistical concepts and techniques
  • Experience with data cleaning, manipulation, and analysis
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities:
  • Clean, transform, and analyze large datasets to extract insights and identify trends.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of data models and algorithms.
  • Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support decision-making processes.
  • Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various data-driven initiatives.
