Job Description

Furthermore, HighLine observes and promotes safety and educational guidelines relevant to this industry.Essential Functions, Major Duties, and/or Accountabilities

  • Operate construction machinery such as excavators, Skid steer, all-terrain forklifts and other foundation equipment.
  • Maintain and ensure high level of safety
  • Review and understand all safe job procedures and job safety analysis for performed tasks.
  • Attend all pre-job, post-job and monthly safety meetings as required.
  • Wear all appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Work with others as a team
  • Participate in the Preventive Maintenance program for the equipment you operate
  • Setup, inspect and operate equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Operate equipment productively in all conditions including high traffic, remote or congested areas, as well as in all weather conditions.
RequirementsQualifications and Skills:
  • Skid steer experience required.
  • Excavator experience required.
  • Ability to understand and work with utility locates.
  • Experience in utility construction preferred.
  • High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility and adaptability.
  • Ability to plan, organize, develop, implement and interpret company programs, objectives, policies and procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Class 1, 3 or 5(Q) drivers license would be an asset
