  • Online portfolio of your latest and best design work. Real or fictional examples.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of various design applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Proven knowledge of HTML / CSS, not afraid to learn or modify JavaScript
  • Understanding of colour, use of space, typography, and visual weights
  • Understanding of print design
  • Interpersonal skills (ability to explain rationale behind design decisions)
What Makes You Extra Awesome:
  • Video editing experience
  • InDesign knowledge
  • UI experience and Sketch knowledge
  • Mobile design experience
  • Iconography
  • CRM experience such as Hubspot, SalesForce or NetSuite
  • CMS experience such as WordPress, Squarespace
  • SEO, Google Analytics, SEM, Social Media experience
  • Bonus points for: Researching skills, bringing a positive and lighthearted energy to a team, and fixing splelling errors
What You Will Do:
  • Provide support for Design Director and design team
  • Translate creative direction into visual design
  • Design, illustrate, animate, layout for a wide range of web, print, and software projects
  • Maintain HTML / CSS and for multiple web websites including internal employee resource reference websites.
  • Work with clients and content developers to gather requirements and explain design concepts
  • Research, suggest, and implement new and more efficient processes
  • Uphold brand standards and design principles
