The RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Reverse Inventory Coordinator to join our Inventory Team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the sorting, documentation, and movement of damaged products within our Inventory Calgary Damage Area (ICDA). You will ensure accurate assessment, cleaning, and transfer of these products to the clearance center, while maintaining effective communication with service teams, manufacturers, and logistics partners.The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position requires a hands-on approach, including physically managing inventory and ensuring smooth workflow within the damage area.What you will be doing1. Product Documentationamp; ProcessingSort and document damaged products arriving at the ICDA.Facilitate product assessment, cleaning, and transfer to clearance.Coordinate with the shop for any required servicing.2. Paperworkamp; System Updates
  • Complete and process paperwork for product movements.
  • Maintain and update the SWEET system for accurate tracking.
  • Handle requests from Service Support and update product status.
3. Return Authorization (RA) Handling
  • Process RAs for damaged products, contacting manufacturers as needed.
  • Communicate issued RAs to Inventory Manager for billing.
  • Coordinate product shipments with Reverse Logistics.
4. Area Organizationamp; Inventory Control
  • Maintain organization within the damage area and oversee ICDA inventory.
  • Ensure proper handling of products and process all RAs from manufacturers.
5. Issue Resolutionamp; Escalation
  • Monitor approval and shipping delays, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Alert management to escalated problems, especially long-standing product delays.
6. Communicationamp; System Maintenance
  • Keep the SWEET system updated and handle Service Support requests.
  • Ensure timely communication with manufacturers regarding product issues.
To be successful in this role you must have
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with inventory management and product handling.
  • Comfortable with physically demanding tasks (lifting, stacking, moving products).
  • Proficiency in using non-powered lifting devices (dolly, etc.).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and system updates.
  • Dependable and punctual with adherence to company policies.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to unforeseen issues.
