Job Description

Reach Ltd. is looking for a motivated and skilled Senior Technical Writer to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on creating clear, concise, and engaging content that helps both internal and external stakeholders understand the technical details of our integrations, products, and services. You will work closely with product managers, sales engineers, subject matter experts, and the development team to ensure that our documentation is easy to understand, up to date, and accessible for a variety of audiences.This role will also support our sales and marketing teams with technical content and documentation aimed at enhancing the user experience and ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions.Key Responsibilities:● Create and maintain technical documentation that explains Reach’s integration flows, including embedded, Checkout API, and Drop-In integrations.● Work with sales teams to develop content that articulates integration requirements and responsibilities for merchants, such as onboarding steps and the specific areas Reach manages (e.g., settlement reports, platform setup).● Maintain technical specifications and documentation for API endpoints, including updates as the product evolves.● Ensure consistency between Dev Docs and Help Centre content, linking them effectively to provide a seamless user experience.● Develop technical content for new integrations with popular subscription platforms and processors● Own and manage the Help Centre content, ensuring it is kept up-to-date and relevant. Identify content gaps and collaborate with SMEs to fill them.● Support the marketing team by creating technical documentation related to tax products, including clear processes for tax settings on popular ecommerce platforms and direct API integrations.● Provide detailed technical content for new features or changes in the development lifecycle, working closely with the development team to align documentation with product releases.● Research and analyze competitors’ technical documentation to identify strengths and weaknesses, creating content to help position Reach #39;s offerings in the marketplace.● Develop internal-facing documentation to support the company’s knowledge base, including product specifications, feature explanations, and insights on recent releases.Requirements● Minimum 5 years of experience as a technical writer, ideally in the fintech or payments industry.● Extensive experience in writing and editing technical documentation that caters to both technical and non-technical users.● Proficiency in content management systems (CMS), Google Docs, and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence). Familiarity with the Google Developer Style Guide is a plus.● Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, and development teams.● Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all content.● Experience in writing documentation for integrated platforms and APIs.● Familiarity with developer tools and environments.● Ability to create and maintain information architecture templates for data migration.● Experience with competitor research and market analysis, particularly in the technical space.● Familiarity with popular subscription platforms is a plus.BenefitsAt Reach, we value great people.
