We work with proactive clients who understand the importance of having exceptional staff.Position: Field Service Technician / Heavy Duty MechanicAre you a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic looking to take your career to the next level Join our client’s team and work on advanced directional drilling mobile equipment while enjoying a supportive and rewarding environment.Location: Based in our client #39;s state-of-the-art fabrication shop facility. Fieldwork may require travel up to 50% of the time.Why Choose This Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment both on-site and in the field.
  • Start up and commission new equipment at customer locations.
  • Adjust, repair, and replace defective parts or systems as required.
  • Collaborate with customers to define repair scopes and maintain strong service relationships.
  • Accurately document time, technical reports, and parts usage.
  • Maintain a high standard of safety and quality in all work performed.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
  • Certification: Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) certification required, with on-road/off-road tickets preferred.
  • Experience: Expertise in hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Familiarity with drilling equipment and transportation vehicles is an asset.
  • Tools: Must have your own tools.
  • Travel-Ready: Valid driver’s license and passport required. Must be able to travel domestically and internationally, sometimes on short notice.
  • Skills: Strong communication, independent work ethic, and computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
  • Safety First: Prior safety training is a bonus, though training will be provided if necessary.
