Job Description

Partner Staffing is currently working with our client seeking an experienced and dynamic Electrical Project Manager to join their Calgary team. This will be a full time office position.Position Overview:The Electrical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of utility power and distribution projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. RequirementsKey Responsibilities:Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget. Define project objectives, deliverables, and milestones.Execution: Lead and manage project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors. Ensure effective coordination and communication among all stakeholders.Quality Control: Monitor project progress and performance, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Implement quality assurance and quality control processes.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Address issues and challenges promptly to minimize impact on project timelines and budget.Budget Management: Oversee project finances, including cost estimation, budget tracking, and financial reporting. Ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources.Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory authorities. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, reports, and records. Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and up to date.Safety: Promote a culture of safety and ensure all project activities comply with health and safety regulations. Conduct safety audits and inspections as required.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project delivery and performance.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor #39;s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in project management within the utilities, power, and distribution sector.Experience with large-scale utility power and distribution projects.
