Job Description

Partner Staffing is currently working with our client seeking experienced and motivated Transportation Technologists at all levels (Junior, Intermediate, Senior) to join their dynamic team in Calgary. The successful candidates will assist in the planning, design, and implementation of transportation infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, bridges, and transit systems.   • Assist in the development and review of transportation engineering designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Conduct field surveys, data collection, and analysis to support project development.
  • Prepare cost estimates, technical reports, and project documentation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and other team members to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Participate in the preparation and review of traffic studies, impact assessments, and feasibility studies.
  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Provide technical support during construction phases, including site inspections and addressing technical issues.
  • Participate in public consultations and stakeholder engagement processes.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices and processes.
Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or a related field.
  • Certification or eligibility for certification with ASET (Association of Scienceamp; Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta).
  • Relevant experience in transportation engineering or a related field:
  • Junior Level: 0-3 years of experience.
  • Intermediate Level: 3-7 years of experience.
  • Senior Level: 7+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and traffic analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of transportation planning principles, traffic engineering, and geometric design standards.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
