Job Description

We are seeking a Junior Accountant on behalf of our Oilamp; Gas client located downtown.If you have experience with full-cycle accounting and are looking to start a new permanent position to continue your career, look no further! Responsibilities include:

• Full-cycle accounting including AP and AR
• Tracking and matching invoices;
• Bank, general Ledger, inventoryamp; invoicing reconciliations
• Assist with invoice entry
• Assist with filing month-end, year-end
• Additional responsibilities to support the senior Accountant as required

Requirements include:

• 2+ years’ experience with full-cycle accounting is preferred
• Experience with SAP, Sage 50 is preferred but not required
• High attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Outlook
• Excellent communication skills, spoken and written
• Excellent customer service orientation, likes to help others
• Strategic thinker, problem solver that learns quickly, takes initiative, works well with others and work efficiently under deadlines
