Job Description

We have high expectations and a career at C-ERA means challenging yourself to always be better.As the Accounting Clerk, you will be providing clerical and administrative support to the Accounting team and our clients. You should be comfortable managing a variety of accounting and administrative tasks each day with a focus on providing timely customer service and producing detailed and accurate reports, correspondence, and results.You will provide service for internal customers and communicate with external vendors and clients on a regular basis.This role reports to the Accounting Manager and is full-time (37.5 hours/week) and permanent. Other Responsibilities include but are not limited to:· Responsible for completing cheque deposits· EFT file transmission for monthly condo fee pull· Posting of payments to owners’ ledgers· Reconciling owners’ ledgers as needed· Entering owners’ banking information · Setting up recurring charges· Communications with clients· Oversee the other A/R clerks; assist and support as needed· Posting opening balances to owners’ accountsRequirements· Minimum of 1 to 3 years in A/R role· Minimum of 1 year supervising others· Self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks and work well with minimal supervision· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial software applications· Strong problem solving and decision-making skills· Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment with strict monthly deadlines· Able to maintain attention to detail and a high level of accuracy· Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skillsBenefits· Hybrid: Potential for limited Work From Home opportunities after 90 days· Competitive total rewards package· Internal training and educational benefits· Paid time off including vacation, sick, additional statutory holidays, and personal days· BenefitsPLUS program for wellness costs· A great team to work with – we’ve been certified as a Great Place to Work by our employees 4 years in a row!Associa is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
