Job Description

Job DescriptionPassionate about everything Foodamp; Beverage and putting a smile on our guests’ faces As Banquet Server, you will have the perfect opportunity to touch the hearts of our guests by making their special occasions truly unforgettable. Please note: The start date for this role will be Mid October 2024, with an end date of January 15th, 2025.What you will be doing:

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to all guests in a variety of settings, including plated and buffet banquets for breakfasts/lunch/dinner, working lunches, coffee breaks, cocktail receptions, formal evening events/galas/weddings, and off-site catering events
  • Serve all food and beverage items for assigned banquet functions
  • Explain banquet menus to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences as well as providing suitable assistance when recommending beverages
  • Have full knowledge of all beverage lists and all menu items being served
  • Clear and reset function space, as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy
  • Assist with function room setup and tear down as specified by meeting organizers
  • Follow all policies, procedures and service standards, including healthamp; safety and food handling procedures
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
