This position is part of the asset management team within the EnPower Technical services team and will play a key role in managing Assets using Maximo. This role will be responsible for developing Maximo improvement plans, leading configuration activities, managing change and influencing adoption of the existing or new business processes. This role will interact with internal and external parties at all levels, and is expected to consistently apply exceptional interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills. Having a customer service approach and setting priorities and allocating necessary resources on a day-to-day and long-term basis are essential functions to satisfying the primary requirements of this position.Travel to field locations may be required occasionally.What You Get To Do:Understand business goals, objectives, and needs, and translate them into business requirements. Develop and maintain Asset Management Information System (Maximo) program including governance policies and procedures Follow ATCO Project Management processes and procedures Understand the current state, recommend future-state, and developamp; maintain a multi-year roadmap. Follow IT project intake processes and develop business cases for capital funding approval. Coordinate with IT vendor managementamp; projects teams and assist in RPF process and vendor evaluation. Collaborate with Business Relationship Manager, IT Project Delivery Office, and Enterpriseamp; Solution Architects for efficient execution of Maximo projects. Understand and validate proposed technical solutions against business requirements. Support user testing activities, change management and user adoption. Update key stakeholders and leadership on project progress on a periodic basis. Work closely with Maximo Systems Analyst to understand data requirements and current system standards and practices. Provide asset management and Maximo support to Operations and Major Projects. Identify asset management information system opportunities and provide recommendations for the strategic use of Asset Management tools. Facilitate and assist in implementation of the asset management Programs. Execute capital IT projects, as the project manager or assist IT project Managers as Maximo subject matter expert. Provide oversight to third party service providers on Maximo projects. Provide monthly/bi-weekly project status reports to management (as required) Champion project management staged gate process Monitor budget and schedule for assigned projects and provide periodic reporting.Who You Are: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Maximo enterprise asset management, with at least 3 years as a Maximo Business Analyst or similar roles. University degree or diploma in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business/Commerce, Engineering, Accounting, or Economics. A Business Analyst certification is preferred but not a requirement. Proven ability to interface with both IT and Business (office and field) personnel. Demonstrated ability to function independently, take initiative and function with a high degree of professionalism. Demonstrated resourcefulness and the ability to work as an effective team member. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present critical information to field operations and company management in a simple and concise manner. Ability to multi-task and work within a fast-paced environment while remaining flexible and steadfast. Experience with Maximo (preferred) but experience with other Maintenance Management systems or tools may be considered as well.
