We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to the continued growth and success of our institution.The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. The BDM will focus on understanding the security needs of various sectors, such as commercial, residential, industrial, or government, and tailor solutions to meet those needs. The role requires a combination of sales expertise, market research, and customer relationship management to expand the company #39;s client base and increase profitability.Key Responsibilities:1. Lead Generation and Market Research:

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within the security sector.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients through various lead generation methods (networking, cold calling, attending events, etc.)
2. Client Relationship Management
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored security solutions, including electronic security systems, access control, surveillance systems, and more.
  • Deliver presentations, demonstrations, and proposals to potential clients.
3. Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet business development goals.
  • Set sales targets and ensure achievement of KPIs for new business acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that align with the company #39;s brand and services.
4. Negotiation and Closing Deals:
  • Prepare and present customized proposals and quotes based on client requirements.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with potential clients.
  • Close deals and finalize contracts to secure new business.
5. Collaboration with Internal Teams:
  • Work closely with the operations, technical, and installation teams to ensure that client needs are understood and met during the implementation of security systems.
  • Provide feedback to management on client satisfaction, market conditions, and opportunities for service improvement.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from sales to post-sales services and support.
6. Reporting and Analytics:
  • Track and report on business development activities, sales forecasts, and market trends.
  • Analyze sales performance and adjust strategies as necessary to meet targets.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of business development initiatives
7. Industry Networking:
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand the company’s visibility and network with potential clients.
  • Develop partnerships and alliances with key players in the security and related industries.
8. Customer Support and Retention:
  • Ensure client satisfaction post-sale by providing ongoing support and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Work with the customer support team to facilitate long-term relationships and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional security solutions.
Qualifications:Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. (Relevant certifications in security or sales are a plus)
Experience:3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management in the security industry (or related industries such as technology, surveillance, or facilities management).SKILLS:
  • Strong knowledge of the security industry, including security technologies, systems, and trends.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software, MS Office, and other sales tools.

Work Environment:
  • Primarily office-based with travel required for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
