Business Intelligence and Analytics DeveloperOn behalf of our client, Procom is seeking a Business Intelligence and Analytics Developer for a 24 month contract in Calgary, AB.Business Intelligence and Analytics Developer Job DetailsTrack and analyze data for project analysis and ETL testing of agent and call data.Business Intelligence and Analytics Developer Responsibilities

  • Perform validations to ensure the extracted data reconciles with source data.
  • Perform internal data analysis and reporting using BI tools and programming language (Python)
  • Assist with Power BI dashboard development using best practices.
  • Explore the possibilities of using machine learning and predictive analytics for simulations.
Business Intelligence and Analytics Developer Must Have Skills
  • Two (2) years #39; working experience within the last 3 years in developing and delivering successful business intelligence and analytics projects or supporting BI amp;A solutions in production with one or more of the following technologies:
    • A data integration tool such as Informatica or Python Libraries (pandas, pyodbc, Beautifulsoup)
    • A BI amp;A report and dashboard tool such as BusinessObjects or Power BI
    • Big data frameworks / platforms such as Hadoop, Cluster computing frameworks such as Spark, Python batch processing or parallel computing
    • Data virtualization platforms such as Denodo;
  • Two (2) years experience in applying data modelling principles such as Kimball Dimensional Modelling; and
  • Two (2) years #39; experience in database technologies, database, and scripting such as Oracle or SQLServer.
Business Intelligence and Analytics Developer Nice to Have Skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels.
  • Experience with 911 systems such as Computer Aided Dispatch, telephony, workforce management systems or radio systems.
