Job Description

PRIMARY ROLE:The CFO is a critical part of the Executive Management team. The CFO is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of Finance activities for the company, including business planning, budgeting, forecasting negotiations, financial compliance, and risk management. Together with the CEO, the CFO plans the organization’s financial strategy to protect the company’s revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.ESSENTIAL DUTIESamp; RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drives the company’s financial planning; advises on long-term business and financial planning.
  • Performs risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investment decisions.
  • Provides strategic recommendations to the CEO and Leadership team.
  • Provides leadership, direction, and management of the Finance team.
  • Provides direction and supports the Controller who is responsible for overseeing financial operations of subsidiary companies and operations.
  • Assures key financial principles and processes are adhered to and aligned to the strategic objectives of the business.
  • Manages the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversees the preparation of all financial monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, for head office and subsidiaries.
  • Establishes and develops relations with senior management, stakeholders and other third parties, such as banks and financiers, auditors, and advisors.
  • Reviews and maintains all formal finance and procedures across the group.
  • Provides aggressive cost analysis to improve profitability.
OTHER DUTIESamp; RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Works with the CEO to develop and maintain performance measures and monitoring systems that support the company #39;s strategic direction, including key metrics and KPIs.
  • Maintains strong relations with external auditors, investigates and/or acts on their findings and recommendations.
  • Ensures sufficient and appropriate insurance coverage is maintained.
  • Maintains transfer pricing agreements between the various worldwide operations of the business.
EDUCATIONamp; EXPERIENCE:
  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Economics.
  • A MBA or CPA or in active pursuit of a finance designation.
  • 10+ years of working experience in Finance, Manufacturingamp; Cost accounting.
  • 5 to 7 years of senior management experience.
