InterestedThe Contractamp; Pricing Analyst maintains pricing data and provides support for the daily and monthly pricing for all NGLamp; Crude business units. Assists internal parties in the evaluation of opportunities for customers by providing pricing data support. To coordinate the preparation and execution of Crudeamp; NGL Marketing contracts. What You #39;ll Be Doing
  • Gathers, updates and verifies all daily and monthly prices and enters in system for invoicing.
  • Is responsible for month end estimates and settlements.
  • Maintains all Trucking Freight rates and fuel surcharges in system for invoicing.
  • Prepares equalization reconciliation’s for cost recovery.
  • Maintains, analyzes and updates Tariffs, EQs, and differentials as they relate to commercial deals.
  • Prepares and completes monthly pricing confirmations with counterparties for all Stream.
  • Responsible for Purchase and Sales contracts.
  • Collects and analyzes information to prepare contracts.
  • Prepares and amends NGL Marketing and Storage contracts.
  • Prepares and amends Internal transportation agreements as required.
  • Obtains and validates contract approvals to comply with Internal Controls.
  • Performs matching, signing, sending and filing of all contracts.
  • Develops relationships with counterparties in other organizations, maintain communication and resolve routine or minor contract issues with internal and external counterparties.
  • Troubleshoots transaction entry problems as they relate to contracts and works with schedulers to resolve the issue.
  • Investigates, resolves and communicates pricing differences with external counterparties.
  • Manages contract and pricing group email boxes.
  • Maintains Master Data and setup as required in system.
  • Establishes rapport with internal and external counterparties and facilitate teamwork.
  • Draws logical conclusions. Sees the implications of events or information.
  • Contributes to decisions taken in the team and puts forward alternative solutions.
  • Demonstrates a personal commitment and proactive approach to Environment, Healthamp; Safety (EH amp;S) through participation in all applicable EH amp;S programs and ensures safe operation of the branch, team or unit and compliance with all Company EH amp;S policies and procedures.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
What You #39;ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree in commerce / Finance or relevant discipline.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of NGLamp; Crude Pricing.
  • Knowledge of Crude production would be considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of Crudeamp; NGL North American markets.
  • Knowledge of Entero system and related software.
  • Knowledge of ETRM systems and Implementation.
  • Strong Excel skills are required.
  • Appreciation of importance of pricing role as it affects customers.
  • Analytical and demonstrates an attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management.
  • Ability to work quickly and under pressure to complete assignments on time.
  • Communicate professionally and efficiently, both internally and externally.
  • Self motivated team player.
  • Notice trends or patterns in information or events.
  • Willing to try new approaches.
Working Conditions
  • The majority of the work is performed in an office environment.
  • Working hours are 8 hours/day Monday to Friday.
  • Gibson has adopted a hybrid work environment for Calgary-based employees (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday you #39;re required to work from the Calgary Head Office).
