We know it starts with people like you, so take a chance and start with us.Department: Sustainability, Relationshipsamp; ImpactJob Number: REQ7432Location: Edmonton or Calgary (This is a hybrid role that will require some travel to our Edmonton or Calgary offices)Apply by: April 21, 2024Paygrade: K - OTH# Positions available: 1System Job Title: Data Analyst 6Leader Name: Managing Director, ESG IntegrationWork Arrangement: Hybrid: You’ll work both remote and onsite, where time onsite is based on your job accountabilities and performance objectives.As ATB’s next Data Analyst, ESG, you will synthesize complex Environmental, Social,amp; Governance (ESG) data using advanced analytics, data visualizations, and dashboards to provide insights into ATB’s ESG reporting approach and sustainability strategy. Understanding, synthesizing and enhancing ATB’s data quality will enable further informed business decisions and enhance the ability to share ESG progress/results for quarterly and annual reporting across the enterprise, including for leadership and the Board.Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across enterprise to request and compile various types of data from multiple sources
• Synthesizes data using data visualizations and dashboards tailored to the audience/use; tells a narrative around the data to highlight insights, synthesize conclusions, and ultimately support ESG reporting and ATB’s sustainability strategy
• Provides quality assurance of imported data, ensuring integrity of data and working with quality assurance analysts if necessary
• Works with a wide range of data/functions to process, design and present data in ways that enable the ESG team and related AOEs/SSUs to make better, more informed decisions
• Produce datasets and reports for analysis and/or other business purposes (e.g.Quarterly Business Review, CEO Report, Sustainability Report, Governance and Conduct Review Committee)
• Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets and provides summaries of trends to inform decisions, tracking frequency, and reporting outcomes
• Provide analysis and insights related to ESG performance and initiatives. This could include evaluating the effectiveness of current initiatives, identifying areas for improvement, and forecasting future trends and challenges in the ESG space.
• Analyzes trends fromand leverages data-driven insights to embed learnings into ESG initiatives and to track against relevant KPIs/targets/goals
• Provides analytics from multiple data sources, templates, and types of data to inform reporting for various purposes, including for the Sustainability Scorecard, ESG Dashboard, quarterly reports, and the annual Sustainability Report
