We know it starts with people like you, so take a chance and start with us.Department:Data and AIJob Number: REQ7653Location: Calgary or Edmonton, AB (Hybrid)Apply by:June 6, 2024Paygrade: N-OTHSystem Title: Leader 9, AI Delivery# Positions available: 1Leader Name: AVP, AI and Advanced AnalyticsWork Arrangement: Hybrid: You’ll work both remote and onsite, where time onsite is based on your job accountabilities and performance objectives.As ATB #39;s next Director of Intelligent Process Automation, you play an influential role that is responsible for the development, improvement, and operational management of end to end process transformations enabled through ATB’s Intelligent Process Automation platform.Understanding the key objectives and outcomes required the successful candidate harnesses technologies utilized to deliver Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Machine Learning to implement a strategy that drives efficiency up, reduces technical debt and seeks continuous improvement.Additionally the incumbent plays a pivotal role in achieving outcomes that drive productivity and efficiency whilst being the champion for simplicity and human-centred design. You’ll work regularly and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders within ATB as well as external partners.

  • Demonstrates deep domain expertise in emerging developments in Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Automation including emerging technologies, industry trends and best practices, and competitive use case priorities in market.
  • Applies domain expertise in AI and Automation capabilities to ATB’s strategic priorities to help identify key opportunities and areas of focus and becomes a trusted advisor to executive leadership.
  • Defines and implements the automation strategy, including the evolution of the technical roadmap.
  • Be the ultimate customer advocate and thought leader for automation practices and support the delivery of the ATB Story as it relates to Process Automation.
  • Builds alignment and support for the transformation of ATB’s processes through automation relying on deep experience, thought leadership, and subject matter expertise to succeed.
  • Leadership of the team members accountable for the automation of customer journeys and shared services.
  • Develops other leaders by providing effective performance coaching including goal setting, reviews and ongoing coaching and feedback
  • Manages Capital budget allocations, scope and timelines in accordance with project allocations based on agile capital and project governance models.
Requirements
  • University degree in computer science, business, management, human computer interactions or related disciplines or an acceptable combination of education, experience and training.
  • 7-9 years experience in designing, developing, delivering and operating products with the customer/user experience in mind
  • 5+ years experience in:
  • software engineering and leading development teams utilizing modern DevOps practices, frameworks (SDLC) and mindsets (Agile) that promote rapid and iterative ecosystems
  • automation technologies such as Process Mining, Robotic Process Automation, Intelligent Document processing, AI/ML, Cloud, Collaboration Tools, Application Modernization, etc.
  • being personally responsible for driving complex projects from concept to deployment
  • developing, executing on strategy and leadership directives to deliver growing change excellence
  • sales or operations areas of a FInancial Services organization
  • progressive leadership experience in leading and coaching teams
  • the implementation of architectural frameworks such as TOGAT, Gartner or DoDAF
  • OSI Model for Cloud native technologies
  • IT infrastructure and information systems ecosystem
  • IT management and governance framework such as COBIT and ITIL
