With our head office in Calgary, and regional offices in Greater Edmonton, Red Deer and Lethbridge, we have central and southern Alberta covered.We offer work with meaning, incredible opportunities for development, work life balance and opportunities to contribute to your community.Join our team!Summary: AltaLink’s Securityamp; Information Services (S amp;IS) organization is aligned to a Listen, Plan, Build, and Operate model.Reporting to the VP, Securityamp; Information Services, the S amp;IS Business Office is responsible for strategic planning of S amp;IS services and comprises the finance, resource, governance, strategy, and enterprise architecture functions of the S amp;IS organization.The Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the processes required to inform, align, and support S amp;IS service delivery teams (Capital Project Delivery, Application Support and Operations, and Corporate Security).This role requires a highly collaborative approach, working closely with the S amp;IS leadership team as well as leaders from across AltaLink’s lines of business.The Director will work with the S amp;IS team to formulate a rolling long-term plan of business requirements and S amp;IS capital investment, services, resources, and operating costs. The role is also responsible for managing the annual S amp;IS budgeting process, monthly financial variance analysis and forecasting, and compliance reporting and will also support these processes for the larger Customer and Corporate Services team at AltaLink.The role is responsible for identifying and facilitating continuous improvement across the entire S amp;IS organization, including multi-discipline, cross-team processes; innovation and transformation; sourcing and vendor performance management; and the General Tariff Application process.Responsibilities: The role is responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and continuously improving key S amp;IS business processes.Customer engagement (internal business customers of the S amp;IS organization)
