Job Description

Our client is a rapidly growing Mechanical and Electrical consulting firm. They are proud of their adaptability, accountability, and creativity. Mission-driven and have an unwavering commitment to provide creative, detailed, and coordinated design solutions to their clients in Canada and across North America.DescriptionDesign and drafting of power distribution, lighting and voice/data using REVIT; Assist Project Managers to meet clients’ deliverables; Coordinate with the design team.

  • To deliver creative, detailed, and coordinated design solutions on budget and on time.
  • Assist Project Manager and team members to ensure projects stay on schedule and budget.
Requirements
  • REVIT Skills mandatory
  • Wire, conduit, and breaker sizing, lighting design, and fire alarm design
  • Ability to review, interpret, and apply building codes in different jurisdictions
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced working environment
  • Ability to identify potential risks and report them to the PMs
  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or other related fields
  • Motivated and passionate about designing and building systems
  • Committed to meet deadlines
  • Adaptability and ability to pivot to meet on-demand requests on short notice
  • Meet clients’ deliverables
  • Deliver creative, detailed, and coordinated design solutions on budget and on time
  • Minimize repeat work due to client and AHJ comments
  • Technical Diploma, C.E.T designation or EIT designation all acceptable
  • Team player
  • Self-starter
