Job Description

A well-established organization in the transportation and infrastructure sector is looking to add a Finance Manager to its corporate finance function. This leadership role is central to ensuring timely and accurate financial close and reporting, and is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in accounting and team leadership who thrive in structured, deadline-driven environments.About the RoleReporting to a senior finance leader, this role is responsible for overseeing the monthly close process, managing consolidation activities, and preparing financial statements in accordance with accounting standards. Leading a team of 4–5 finance professionals, this manager will play a key role in ensuring the quality and consistency of financial data, while supporting continuous improvement across reporting functions.What You’ll Do

  • Lead the full month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages
  • Oversee financial consolidation across multiple entities or business units
  • Review and finalize external financial statements and related disclosures
  • Supervise, coach, and develop a team of intermediate and senior accountants
  • Liaise with auditors and support external audit processes
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance reporting efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during system integrations and reporting transitions
What You Bring
  • CPA designation with 3–5 years of post-designation experience
  • Strong background in public accounting or a corporate finance team at a publicly traded company
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
