Our services are bound to no industry, and are flexible to cater to multiple delivery methods or schedules.Your RoleAs an Instructional Content Developer, you will ensure the creation and delivery of specialized training materials for various educational programs as facilitated and delivered through PanGlobal Training Systems Ltd. Your key responsibilities fall into the three functional areas of Instructional Design, Content Development, and Technical Writing. What You Will DoInstructional Design:

  • Revisit and assess learning objectives. Research and implement new technologies into instruction.
  • Develop and generate high quality instructional educational materials to convey complex, technical subjects in plain English and design learning activities, assignments, and assessments and ensuring that these materials are customized to various learning styles.
  • Conceptualize and create course materials, including lesson plans and presentations and distribute key learning materials to the audience.
  • Review, evaluate, and improve existing content for clarity and accuracy.
Content Development:
  • Obtain information needed to prepare training programs and materials by working with SMEs in the design and application of various technical education programs.
  • Collaborate with experts and professionals (SMEs) to create technical training materials.
  • Ensure content aligns with learning objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Maintain a centralized content repository for easy access and enhancing team collaboration.
  • Integrate visuals and multimedia for enhanced learning.
  • Create customized learning materials from various sources.
Technical Writing:
  • Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
  • Gather information from SMEs and develop, organize, and write procedure manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation.
  • Work with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit, and determine best solutions for data compilation and centralized storage.
  • Research, create, and maintain information architecture templates that adhere to organizational and legal standards and allow for easy data migration.
  • Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation.
What You Will BringEducation and Knowledge:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design preferred, as well as education in content development and technical writing. A combination of education and experience in instructional design, content development, and technical writing will also be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of learning theories and instructional design. Excellent project management application and familiarity with content-authoring programs. Proficiency in Articulate 360 and RISE, Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc.).
Experience and Skills:
  • 5+ years’ experience in technical writing, instructional design, and/or content development; eLearning, PowerPoint, and resource design and development support. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Able to simplify complex, technical information and seamlessly integrate into lesson plans, considering various learning styles. Visual design skills are nice to have.
  • Highly organized and responsive to changing work priorities. Excellent time-management with a strong focus delivering products and services within agreed-upon timelines.
  • Precision, accuracy and a high attention to detail in all aspects of work.
Communications and Interpersonal Relations:
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Able to handle requests and complaints in a professional, non-confrontational manner.
  • Excellent follow-up and problem-solving skills, with ability to make intuitive decisions; adapts to changing priorities.
Team-Orientation:
  • Able to work effectively both independently as well as with a team.
  • Collaborative and actively engaged with team project work.
  • Openness to sharing insights and information for the betterment of the team and work environment.
