Our clientele primarily consists of E amp;Ps, private equity, pension funds, banking institutions, midstream companies and government agencies.Who you are:McDaniel is looking for Evaluation Engineer to join our emerging advisory team. You will be responsible for supporting high-impact projects, and developing and implementing practices that will scale and grow our practice. Preference will be given to self-motivated candidates that can demonstrate work experience related to valuations.We are looking for candidates with:· Problem solving mentality and desire to understand “why†and “how†of complex issues· Experience working with data to identify root problems and build solutions · Ability to work well within an integrated team· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to tailor messaging for a suite of audiences (technical and business)· Experience with the programs Value Navigator and GeoScout and proficient experience in Microsoft Excel · Two to seven years of experience and an interest to work in a fast pace and demanding work environment, previous experience in a finance or banking role is considered favorably Responsibilities will include exposure to:· Technical forecasting of well performance based on reservoir engineering and geological principles · Data analytics in support of technical forecasts· Creation and analysis of technical and economic models for asset and corporate level valuations· Asset rationalization and development optimization· Evaluations and reporting of oil and gas reserves and resources for regulatory purposes and debt and equity financing· Significant email, phone, virtual and in-person meeting interaction with clients and decision makers.Please send your resume, cover letter, and transcripts to careers@mcdan.com.Thank you
