Position OverviewWe’re looking for a Quality Assurance professional to join our Application Integration team, reporting to the Manager of Workflow Automation.You will work closely with your team and business stakeholders to assist in analyzing, designing, and automating the testing of new features, integrations, and workflows. You Will:
  • Work alongside the workflow automation team to build an automated test suite/system to verify our workflows created in Workato;
  • Institute best practices when it comes to both testing Workflow automation as well as Restful APIs developed by the team;
  • Advocate for a test-first mindset by working with development teams to create and maintain automated tests for technology changes, new product features, enhancements, and defect fixes to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle;
  • Identify and evaluate additional opportunities for test automation and tooling;
  • Assist in defect management, including identifying, prioritizing, and triaging issues;
  • Troubleshoot, isolate and verify issues encountered during automated test runs and assist in problem-solving;
  • Document testing processes and standards to be used across Application Integration Services and Workflow development teams.
RequirementsMust Have Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation with a strong foundation of QA methodologies, principles, and best practices;
  • Hands-on API automation testing experience with experience in scripting technologies such as JavaScript;
  • Experience with workflow automation tools such as Workato, UI Path, Blue Prism, etc;
  • Good working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases. Experience with Snowflake is a plus;
  • Strong analytical skills in working with development tools, database technologies, APIs, and structured and unstructured datasets;
  • Continuous improvement mindset, taking the initiative to research and adapt new technologies and methodologies;
  • Have the ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly;
  • Practical experience with workflow or decision rules engines;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Experience writing tests for workflow automation;
  • Experience with one or more of the following tools:
  • RestAssured
  • Junit
  • TestContainers
  • TestCafe
  • Event-Driven Architecture
Nice to Have Requirements:
  • Experience in a technology start up environment;
  • Experience working in fintech/e-commerce;
  • Experience speaking and presenting to business stakeholders;
  • Experience mentoring and supporting other QAs.
