Job DescriptionOur Global Architectureamp; Urbanism Division combines the expertise of IBI’s Buildings and Placemaking practice, our Places’ capabilities, and CRTKL’s multi-sector design leadership to offer a diverse range of solutions focusing on human-centric design, sustainability, and technology. Arcadis Calgary office is looking for an Intern Architect/Designer to join its award winning Living+ Studio. You will be working on exciting Mixed-Use/Multi-Family Residential high-rise buildings. Your extensive experience with Multi-Family Residential/Mixed-Use Project, attention to detail and proficiency on Revit will help you succeed in the role. Candidates must have an undergraduate or graduate level degree in architecture from an accredited university, able to legally work in Canada, and be registered or eligible for professional registration with the Alberta Association of Architects. The successful candidate is a competent professional who is able to work both independently and as part of a teamWe work with our clients around the world to create, support, and enhance smart, safe and sustainable places where people live, work, learn and thrive.   • Design Phases including concept design and presentation drawings and renderings
  • Design development and documentation for the purposes of obtaining development and building permits
  • Preparing drawings for tender, drawing detailing, construction documentation through to issued for construction documents
  • Coordinating and managing project team members including outside consultants
  • Construction contract administration/construction site reviews
  • Work on multiple projects at the same time
