Job Description

LTL Warehouse Dock WorkerOur client in Rocky View County, in Calgary SE is an industry-leader in LTL freight, they’re getting busier, and they’re looking for experienced Dock Workers to join their team right away! If you have cross-dock experience, LTL experience, and are confident on the Counterbalance forklift, apply today! Responsibilities:

  • Load and unload trailers.
  • Ensure trucks are loaded properly for transportation.
  • Track shipments as they arrive and depart.
  • Operate the sit-down counterbalance forklift to unload and stage product.
Requirements:
  • Previous LTL / Cross-Dock experience would be well-regarded.
  • Certification on sit-down counterbalance forklift is preferred.
  • Accurate, efficient, willing to help wherever is needed.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Have steel toed safety footwear.
  • Ability to keep a clean and safe workspace.
  • Able to pass a criminal background check.
  • Be reliable, hard-working with a strong work ethic.
  • Must have own transportation. Site is not transit accessible.
About this position:
  • Compensation commensurate with experience.
  • Workday consists of 30% office work, and 70 % dock work.
  • Supportive team environment.
  • Sunday to Thursday shifts available starting at 2.00 pm to 10.30 pm – 40 hours per week.
  • Opportunity for overtime.
  • Opportunity to work on a 4-day rotation, 10-hour shifts.
  • Position to start immediately.
